LEGEND Coban Rondo
The story behind the Waterfall Coban Rondo, stems from a bride and groom just got married. The bride named Dewi Anjarwati of Gunung Kawi, while the groom named Raden Baron Kusumo from Mount Anjasmoro. After the age of marriage at the age of 36 days or called Selapan (Java language). Anjarwati goddess took her husband's visit to Mount Anjasmoro, which is the origin of the husband. But parents Anjarwati prohibit the bride and groom leave for their new marriage age was 36 days or so-called selapan. But both the bride insisted on going to risk anything that happens on the trip.

While en route they were surprised by the presence of Lelono Joko, an unclear origin. Joko Lelono seems enamored with the beauty of Goddess Anjarwati, and tried to capture it. As a result, a fight between Joko Lelono by Raden Baron Kusumo inevitable. To his aides also called Puno friend who accompanies the bride and groom, Raden Baron advised that the Goddess Anjarwati Kusumo hidden somewhere contained in Coban or waterfall. A fight between Raden Baron Kusumo with Joko Lelono lasted cried and they both fall. Consequently Goddess Anjarwati became a widow in the Java language called Rondo. Since then Coban or waterfall hiding place known as the Goddess Anjarwati Coban Rondo. It is said that a big rock under the waterfall is the seat of the princess who contemplate his fate.

Besides Coban Rondo, on it there is also Coban tengah (Coban duda) and Coban manten (waterfall wedding). But to access there should walk a few minutes.

Getting There
Access to Coban Rondo Waterfall is very easy. If using public transportation, take the bus from Surabaya Malang majoring (IDR 12.000, - per person). Then riding bemo from Terminal Arjosari, Malang, majoring Landungsari (IDR 1 .500, - per person). Continue by bus via Pujon Kediri goal, get off at the Statue of cow which is the gateway to Coban Rondo (Rp 2,500, -). From there, there are motorcycle taxis are available to take you to the location.
